Research Grants and Projects

The development of Mongolian language proficiency test, a standardized test of Mongolian language proficiency for non-native speakers wishing to enroll in Mongolian Universities, and to work in Mongolia. Our project team created materials for a complete examination, including writing tasks, reading tasks and listening tasks with online versions. (Since 2012 – until 2014), the Client: Ministry of Science and Education of Mongolia. (Secondary investigator), Project status: Completed.
Comparative Studies on Idioms of Mongolian and English; The purpose of my research is to try to explain the etymologies of Mongolian idioms and English idioms, which can express a nation’s mentality through a contrastive study of linguo-culturology. The planned result of this project is the publication of a dictionary of Idioms in Mongolian and English. (2012 – 2014), the Client: Ministry of Science and Education of Mongolia. (Secondary investigator), Project status: Completed.
A Video Book of Mongolian Nomadic Culture: This is a documentary film project about lifestyle, culture and social features of Mongolian nomads. Initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia. (2014-2015). Project status: Completed.
