If you want to study with us, you must meet the entry requirements listed below:

Appropriate background knowledge, proven through a qualifying university degree in the fields of Islamic Studies, Oriental Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Art history, or archeology (with a focus on Islamic art history or Archeology) totaling at least 36 credits.

To support the international character of the program, the language of instruction of all focus modules is English. A level B2 minimum of English language skills according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is a prerequisite for admission to the program. Submitting a recognized language certificate (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS) or equivalent as proof is required.
For enrollment, there is no requirement for German language proficiency.
