Kambadur
Mallikārjuna Temple
Exhibiting a beautiful open hall with elaborately carved balustrades and one porch at the front, is this complex temple structure, dating from the 11th to 12th centuries CE at Kambadur. After its conversion to Śaivism it is now called the Mallikārjuna Temple. Relatively untypical of the south of India, the porch of the temple has been adorned with prominent figural representations.
